This post is not a reflection of the postal serving folks, as I find them kind and helpful. It is about "rules" the Post Service has that does not serve the people rightly. We live out in the country and have been here 3 years. In 3 years our post box has been vandalized many times, as it does not stand next to the house. We asked that our drop box be on the side of the street as our home so it can be watched close and mail dropped safe. We were told NO, cannot be done. There is no good reason the driver cannot pull by the house and drop the mail. So we continue to have our mail stolen and vandalized as the box sits across the street by itself away from the house. Makes no since as the government post office is to serve the people who live here. We feel we are not being served rightly.
